This week the capital is playing host to the Truro Victorian Christmas Market down on Lemon Quay. When you’re in town picking up your Christmas shopping be sure to take a peak as we’re sure you’ll love some of the gifts on offer here.

We went along to have a look but unfortunately have finished most of our Christmas shopping, otherwise our bags would have been full of cute Cornish gifts and festive treats. The best thing about it is that it’s free to enter and everyones in Victorian clothing so you get a feeling of history when browsing the local products.

Here’s a sneaky peak at what to expect…

Truro Victorian Christmas Market, Lemon Quay

There are almost 70 stalls to have a browse around from food, clothing and jewellery to pottery and books. There is also a food counter serving carvery and pork rolls which will go down a treat on a cold winter day in Cornwall.

If you head along on Wednesday then the late night shopping will be extended into the Truro Victorian Christmas Market will be open until 9pm.

The Truro Victorian Market is in Lemon Quay until Sunday 18th December so head along for some old fashioned Christmas shopping.
