Where to find the Best Brunch in Cornwall

Isn’t breakfast the most important meal of the day? So treating yourself to a lovely brunch in Cornwall is the perfect way to spend your weekend, holiday or in fact any day!

Finding a great spot isn’t always the easiest so we’ve come up with the best places to eat brunch in Cornwall. From Lelant to Truro and Padstow, there’s some gems here…

Cherry Trees, Padstow

Found right on the harbour front of Padstow this small but great cafe offers a cute place for breakfast, lunch or cake. Being in such a popular seaside location both times we have visited we’ve been lucky to grab the last table, so be prepared to wait a little while if you’re eating during peak times.

If you’re cycling The Camel Trail, just visiting for the day, or walking along the Padstow Coast Path this is a great place to fuel up on a delicious brunch.

Godrevy Cafe

Found tucked away just behind the sand dunes of Gwithian and Godrevy this cafe is a delightful place to end a coastal walk, or use as a post surf/swim refuel. Offering a selection of brunch options, anything you order on the menu here will be wonderful.

If the sun’s out make sure you sit on the balcony upstairs to make the most of the sea views!

The Front Room, Penzance

Offering a tasty selection of brunch options, we’ve got to admit we’re slightly addicted to the avocado and eggs at The Front Room. This cosy eatery is found at the bottom of Market Jew Street so it’s very central and a great place to meet friends or head to for a work meeting.

There’s lots of seating available and they are dog friendly too. We also tried lunch at The Front Room.

Emily’s, Truro

Emily’s in Truro is the perfect breakfast or coffee spot in the city. Not only can you sit in or take away, they offer a delivery service too! We opted for the blueberry pancakes, which come as a stack of 2 or 3 depending on your appetite. There are also bagels and crumpets on their delicious sounding menu. Visit them for brunch next time you’re in Truro.

Duckies Cafe, Hayle

A hidden gem found tucked away in the Old Foundry Chapel, this cute little cafe serves a fine breakfast. There’s only a few tables here but it’s worth finding this one out. Everything is freshly cooked and lovingly served from this small cafe, with breakfast, lunch and cakes on offer throughout the day.

One of our favourite places for brunch in Cornwall the Blue Bar has the location, the view and the food to make the perfect match. Team that with a beautiful coastal walk out along to Chapel Porth and how else would you want to spend your lazy weekend mornings?

Birdies Bistro, Lelant

A top place to stop off on the way into or out of St Ives, with plenty of parking, outside dining and views over Cornwalls best nature reserve. The breakfast sandwiches are highly recommended for a great brunch in Cornwall. They are open throughout the day, and welcome dogs so pop in for some fuel next time you’re walking near St Ives Bay.
