Caffe Pasta is one of our favourite Italian restaurants in Cornwall, and it just happens to be perched right on the waters edge of the St Ives harbour. In one of the best locations in St Ives you can look out at the tides, the night lights twinkling or the local gig club practicing, if you’re lucky you may even spot a seal or two…
If you visit on a warm day then Caffe Pasta have some small tables right outside so you can watch the hustle and bustle of St Ives pass you by (just keep an eye on the cheeky local seagulls).
Caffe Pasta Food
If you’re an Italian food lover then you’re going to love Caffe Pasta, if you haven’t been already! We have been eating here for years, and know all our favourite dishes so barely deviate from the norm.
The pizzas and pasta are scrumptious, but we also are partial to a steak on occasion. For starters we often share the Caffe Pasta taste plate, which always has something exciting we’ve never tried before. Then if we are going to be boring we will go for our two favourite pizzas, Crispy Chinese Duck and Spicy Chicken. They are fail safe, comfort food at their finest.
All of the pasta dishes are also delicious, so we would say go for anything here and you’ll walk away happy. There are usually some great seafood specials on offer throughout the season, so try something local while you’re in St Ives.
Top tip – we recommend always booking a table as they are always busy, and ask for a table with a view if you can!
Find Caffe Pasta on The Wharf, TR26 1PG. They are open 7 days a week, for coffee, lunch and dinner.
