Still InnerTide from the outside, but soon to be Lilys of Truro we stopped off for a quick Cornish lunch. Found right at the top of the high street in our capital of Cornwall this cafe is a great place to stop for coffee or lunch on a busy shopping spree.
This dog friendly cafe serves delicious sandwiches, wraps, soup and cakes. We opted for the chicken and pesto wrap, and the chicken and bacon caesar sandwich on Baker Toms bread. Followed by a lemon and thyme Bundt cake, which when you serve with clotted cream you can’t help but love! Simply wonderful fresh food, just what you would expect from an independent cafe.

With plenty of quirky seating, and a few extra tables upstairs there’s usually somewhere to perch to enjoy your lunch, and watch the world go by outside the windows.
Lilys of Truro also have a designated meeting room upstairs away from the hustle and bustle of the coffee machine. Book this space out for your staff meeting, gathering or away day. It’s in a great location in the heart of Truro and with great food on offer downstairs it’s got everything you could need.
Showcasing local pieces of art and jewellery for sale the walls are lined with lots of interesting artworks. Upstairs there is also a gallery where you can browse some top pieces of work, or get in touch if you think this could be a space you want to use, or sell your own art work in.
Visit the new Lilys of Truro website. Find them at 21 Pydar Street TR1 2AY.
