New Years Eve in Cornwall is such a wonderful way to end the year. With some of the best street parties in the country, this year you really must head to the sea to celebrate!

Starting at midnight this charity firework display is a great way to celebrate the New Year in the city centre! Lasting about 10 minutes head to Lemon Quay for the best views!
Bosuns Locker, Penzance
One of the original nightclubs in Penzance they are re-opening for one night only! With some old school names including Greg Ibbotson, Kristoff Moine Nigel Pengelly, Jon-Paul Rivett, Brett Taylor and Lee Williams tickets are from £10 – £15.
Open until 6am this Helston nightclub promises a big party atmosphere. With foam and classic dance anthems to get the party started, head along to dance in the New Year. Tickets from £5.50 – £7.
Launched from Pendennis Castle, you should be able to see this wonderful display from lots of places around the town!
If you are looking for a fancy dress party in the streets, then Looe is one of the best places to head for seeing in 2018! Fancy dress is a must, so don’t turn up without your best outfits! There’s fireworks at 6pm and midnight you can head out for a very family friendly early evening.
Newquay offers a great New Years Eve atmosphere. The highlight of the night starts sees a 30 minute long spectacular firework display at midnight from Newquay harbour.
If you’ve never been to a St Ives at New Years Eve then maybe 2017 is the year to experience it! The harbour and Fore Street turn into one massive street party with lots of families out in fancy dress earlier in the evening. The town starts to get a little busier from 8pm, with everyone heading to the harbour at midnight for the fireworks above the sea.
Sandy Acre 7 are playing at the Guildhall, so get tickets for a dancing fest!
Kidz R Us are offering costume hire for anyone celebrating in St Ives, so head there for hundreds of costumes to choose!
The Cornish Barn, Penzance
With dancing and cocktails how else would you rather see in the new year! The Cornish Barn has a DJ set from King Louis from 10pm until the early hours, and with free entry it’s a great place to head to in Penzance.
The Watering Hole, Perranporth
Head to this 1920’s themed party, and get creative with a Peaky Blinders or The Great Gatsby style outfit! With a champagne reception and a red carpet this is a unique Cornish seaside party!
