JungleBarn, Hayle

Demon drops, slides, soft play and jungle themed birthday parties, JungleBarn has got it all covered. Paradise Park is right next door too, so if you think your little ones can handle both in one day then you haven’t got far to walk.

Lappa Valley Steam Railway, Newquay

With three railways to explore, numerous engines to meet, crazy golf, indoor play carriages, nature trails and much more, Lappa Valley has lots to keep the little ones entertained. The cafe provides childrens meals, and they host birthday parties, and ‘Santa trains’ over Christmas making it a great family attraction.

Dairyland, Newquay

The ultimate family attraction farming day out, you can meet the animals, ride a pony, milk the cows, ride on a tractor and there’s a large indoor soft play area. Children under 80cm also get in for free.

One2Eleven, Helston

This indoor play area has been designed for small children and adults at the same time. There’s a well stocked cafe, and seating throughout the play areas you can keep an eye on your littles ones at all times. Babies under 12months are free, with toddlers only costing £4.95, but they do offer annual cards if you think it’s going to be a regular spot.

Raze the Roof, Penryn

This indoor activity centre is perfect for all the family, with climbing walls, lazer tag, slides and especially the soft play areas for the smaller children and babies. With an on site cafe too it makes it a great place to meet up with friends and let the little ones play in a safe environment.

Sandcastles on the beach

Everyone loves a good free activity, and everyone loves the beach. So head down to your nearest sandy spot with a bucket and spade and watch the hours pass as your toddler gets sandy toes whilst they wander along the tideline building lots of sandcastles.

Screech Owl Sanctuary

Geared towards the whole family, but this is a great day out for children of any age. With lots of animals to look at, a little park and an onsite cafe there’s everything you need. Stick around for the flying display, we’re sure your baby or toddler will love seeing all the birds!

Tamar Valley Donkey Park, Gunnislake

Home to lots of donkeys and ponies, as well as goats, pigs, rabbits and guinea pigs, which are all willing to be fed and pet. There is also a large indoor play area, this sanctuary is set in the countryside with views over looking the Tamar Valley and down to Plymouth.

Roskillys Ice Cream Farm, The Lizard

As the name suggests it’s a working ice cream farm. So not only it there plenty of the sweet cold stuff to try, there are also lots of the animals which are involved in the making of it. Take a wander around the farm trails and visit the milking parlour, the chickens and of course the ice cream parlour.

Old MacDonalds Farm, Near Padstow

This small family run farm park and campsite can be found in North Cornwall between Padstow and Newquay. With the usual petting and feeding times, along with pony rides, young children will enjoy this hidden gem.

Indoor Active, Roche

Located in Cornwall Services on the A30 this is a great find if you have the prospect of a long car journey ahead. They have a soft play area which is free for under 12 months, and up to £5 for children from 1- 4. There is also an awesome climbing wall area called ‘Clip and Climb’ but children must be 4 to have a go, it looks great fun mind!
